5 years ago we decided to jump in, head first and learn how to run a 63 acre organic farm. What we weren't expecting was how much this farm would teach us valuable life lessons. This blog is the story of our experiences and learnings.

Get out the barf bag!
Looky here!
Velma had her calf! We named her Valerie. She is adorable.
Valerie is all cleaned up now. She is just the cutest thing. Although tomorrow we have to try and catch her to tag her. Better to get this over with while she's only 60+ lbs...... we're trying to figure out how to catch her tomorrow without making momma Velma really mad.
1 calf down--- 4 to go. Mike thinks Mariah is next to calf, I'm going with Ivy.

That is the sweetest photo ever. Congratulations!
That looks like something from my nose.
No barf bags needed - It was amazing! Thanks for the experience.
PS I really like the name!

Without getting too sappy, after a long day to come home to find pictures of a newborn calf (and an oreo one at that) is the best!
I saw the two new ones on FB -- wow!Busy times at the farm. They are so cute.
