5 years ago we decided to jump in, head first and learn how to run a 63 acre organic farm. What we weren't expecting was how much this farm would teach us valuable life lessons. This blog is the story of our experiences and learnings.

Pink Banana Squash
I sure hope my CSA members like winter squash. The only reason it is growing is because I'm watering every few days pretty well. I think it's been almost 4 weeks with no rain-- maybe close to 5 weeks. Lets all do that rain dance again.

I love squash. Mine aren't nearly that epic, but they're doing well. They are definitely that shade, but about half that size. Well done!
My, what big squash you have...
Fingers crossed for rain tomorrow night...
in 2 more weeks our duck won't have a pond--- that's how bad it's gotten
My squash did pretty well this year- 100% better than last year- pumpkins are another story-- they did ok-- but it could have been worse
